Schoolzine will soon release our new “Text Messaging” feature! We are intending to release this product to Australian clients in July 2023.
Upon release, you will notice a new option within the side-panel of your Control Centre, which reads Text Messaging.
You will be able to enable this product from directly within your Control Centre. Upon enabling the feature, a new phone number will be automatically created so that you can start sending and receiving messages to and from your contacts. Ideas for using text messaging include:
- Sending out mass Text Messages during a crisis or emergency
- Sending out time-sensitive reminders to certain groups (e.g. Year 11 netball is cancelled due to rain!)
- Absentee notifications to or from parents
This feature has been designed to integrate seamlessly with the way we already send and receive emails and other communications via different messaging channels. We hope that its an intuitive and powerful new tool to help you engage with your community!

Please note: This product is currently available for Schools within Australia only. This product is not included within any existing Schoolzine subscription and does incur a cost.
